For a logo, icon, or graphic on a flat background, open the image and click a background pixel to sample its exact color. The tool makes matching pixels fully transparent; it does not detect the subject or erase an object. A photo background with shadows, texture, or several colors needs a different kind of selection. Start with tolerance 0 so you can see what the exact color match removes before widening the range.
All matching pixels removes the selected color everywhere, including white lettering or details inside a logo. Choose Connected area and click a point in the background to follow only touching pixels that meet the color threshold. If a white detail is connected to the white background through other matching pixels, the tool cannot separate them by meaning. Try a lower tolerance or a different starting point, then inspect the result before downloading.
JPEG compression and anti-aliased edges can leave off-white pixels after the pure white pixels disappear. Raise tolerance a little at a time and compare the result on the checkerboard, white, and black previews. A high tolerance can remove parts of the artwork as well as the fringe. This is a hard color match, not an edge reconstruction or soft background-removal mask. The downloaded PNG keeps the input pixel dimensions and has no added watermark.

No. This tool makes pixels of a selected color transparent. It does not create a grayscale image or use AI to identify a subject. Removing white can also remove white details inside your artwork; use Connected area to restrict the edit.
Try Connected area and pick a white pixel in the background. It follows only touching pixels within the tolerance, so a separate white detail may remain. If the detail joins the background through matching white pixels, a color-based selection cannot reliably keep it.
JPEG compression and blended edge pixels are often close to white rather than exactly white. Raise tolerance gradually, then inspect on black and checkerboard previews. The threshold cannot rebuild mixed edge colors; a larger selection may also remove wanted details.
Yes. The export is a PNG at the input image's decoded pixel dimensions. Selected pixels become fully transparent. JPEG has no transparency in the source, but the exported PNG can have it. The file stays in your browser during this color edit; download before refreshing the page.
